A commercial kitchen equipment manufacturer was developing a high-power induction cooker for restaurants and institutional kitchens. The equipment needed to support long operating cycles while maintaining stable heating performance inside a compact enclosure.

During early testing, the original induction coil showed uneven heating at high power. The coil temperature also increased rapidly during continuous operation, and the customer had to repeatedly adjust the driver board and resonant capacitor to achieve stable operation. The original coil was not designed around the customer's final cookware size, glass panel thickness, ferrite layer, and cooling structure.

Golden Eagle reviewed the complete application instead of evaluating the coil as an independent component. The engineering team analyzed the required heating power, operating frequency, inductance, current, coil diameter, winding pattern, distance from the cookware, and available installation space. The coil geometry was then adjusted to create a more suitable magnetic-field distribution while maintaining a manufacturable winding structure.

For the 3kW–5kW induction cooker project, the main focus was the relationship between the induction coil and the resonant circuit. Inductance, operating current, switching frequency, and temperature rise had to be tested under the customer's actual driver-board conditions. The coil was also evaluated together with ferrite material, insulation, thermal-conductive parts, and the cookware support structure.

Golden Eagle used customized CNC winding processes for the prototype development. The company has 15 years of R&D and manufacturing experience and supports OEM/ODM development for coils, inductors, transformers, and wireless charging products. The customer validated the samples through inductance testing, heating-power testing, temperature-rise testing, heating uniformity, insulation inspection, driver-board compatibility, mechanical assembly, and long-duration operation. The customized induction coil gave the customer a more stable platform for further product testing and reduced repeated changes to the heating module.

For commercial induction coil sourcing, buyers should provide the driver-board parameters, resonant frequency, target inductance, working current, heating power, cookware diameter, coil dimensions, ferrite requirements, cooling method, and expected annual demand. The more complete the electrical and mechanical information, the more accurately the supplier can evaluate the coil structure.
