Deepening Technical Collaboration, Exploring New Applications for Magnetic Rod Coils Together
On August 22, 2025, as a business representative of Dongguan Golden Eagle Coil Co., Ltd Co., Ltd., I, along with our company's technical engineer and supervisor, visited customer CND Company for a highly effective technical exchange and business discussion. During this meeting, our team engaged in in-depth and detailed communication with CND's procurement and R&D engineering teams regarding a collaborative project for a new type of magnetic rod coil application product—a passive stylus, laying a solid foundation for future deeper cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the customer's R&D engineer directly addressed the technical core, providing a detailed introduction to the design parameters and performance requirements of the magnetic rod coil, which is the core component of the passive stylus. We learned that the magnetic rod coil inside the stylus consists of two independent coils: one for wireless charging, with an inductance value of approximately 15.6mH and an operating frequency of 50KHz; the other is a radio frequency coil for signal transmission, with an inductance value of about 1.32mH and an operating frequency of 295KHz. The customer particularly emphasized that, due to observed variations in inductance values during their sample disassembly and testing, they hope our company can assist in retesting the magnetic rod coils to ensure consistency in these key parameters. This places clear demands on our production processes and quality control while showcasing our professional capabilities in the field of precision magnetic rod coil manufacturing.
The discussion naturally focused on material selection and cost control for the magnetic rod coils. Based on extensive experience, our engineer suggested prioritizing commonly available materials for magnetic rod coils in the market to ensure supply chain stability and control costs, avoiding potential delays and increased expenses from small-batch custom orders. For structural components like the stylus tip, we proposed a flexible approach: initially, rapid prototyping verification could be done using carved general-purpose materials, followed by mold development once functional testing of the samples is passed. This phased, verification-focused strategy was highly appreciated by both the customer's procurement and R&D teams, reflecting Golden Eagle Coil Co., Ltd' pragmatic and efficient collaborative style.
This discussion extended beyond the current magnetic rod coil project, opening doors for future cooperation. We presented our company's comprehensive product catalog to the customer, which includes various coils and transformer products used in fields like hearing aids, drones, and medical devices. The customer showed keen interest and revealed plans for developing a wireless charging capacitive stylus in the future, which aligns well with our magnetic rod coil R&D capabilities. We believe that, starting with this passive stylus project, there is broad potential for collaboration between both parties on magnetic rod coils and even more electronic components.
Through this visit, we deeply realized that being customer-centric and thoroughly understanding their technical needs and market pain points is key to gaining trust. We will promptly establish a dedicated communication group to synchronize test data, disassembly reports, and quotation plans, fully driving the sample development process forward to ensure that this technical collaboration centered around magnetic rod coils can yield fruitful results quickly and efficiently.
