Intense! Whole listening test on wireless charging coil modules

At exactly 11 o'clock today, an hour before lunch, I was unusually alert. Why? Because the colleague who joined the company on the same day as me had received a video conference invitation from a client who had placed a sample order for over $2,000 worth of wireless charging modules. The video call included Tuan, the American client, his interpreter, my colleague Alice, our engineer, and me, taking notes on the side.

After a brief round of greetings, we quickly moved into discussing and confirming the drawings, dimensions, PCB, hole positions, and receiving distance of the wireless charging coil module. Well, to make sure I could keep up with the pace and also help everyone understand our wireless charging coil modules better, let me chat more about them—promising to explain clearly without a hint of dullness! Actually, the principle of a wireless charger is similar to that of a transformer at home. Think about it: a transformer has electricity flowing through one side, and the other side induces electricity, right? A wireless charger works the same way. It has two coils: one for sending signals and one for receiving them. When the transmitting coil is connected to a power source, it sends out electromagnetic signals like a secret code. The receiving coil, like a sharp detective, induces this signal and generates current to charge the battery.

Let me break down how it specifically works. When the system starts operating, it either converts household AC into DC or is directly powered by 24V DC. This electricity is processed by the power management module, then converted into high-frequency AC via a 2M active crystal oscillator, which is sent to the primary winding. Then, the two inductive coils "transfer energy"—after the secondary coil receives the energy, it converts the current into DC, which can fully charge the battery. So you see, the wireless charging coil plays a pivotal role in the wireless charger; its quality directly determines how reliable the wireless charger is. Our own coil modules are of absolutely top-notch quality—you can use them with complete confidence!

During the meeting, the client asked if the PCB board in the wireless charging coil module could be made larger or if the coil could be made smaller. Our engineer replied that we could fully customize it according to the client's requirements. Towards the end of the conversation, the client asked our engineer what the maximum receiving distance of the wireless charging coil modules we had designed and produced was. The maximum receiving distance we have achieved is 14 meters, and of course, if there are higher requirements, we will do our best to meet the client's needs.

This video conference was like a continuous barrage of professional terminology! I was on high alert the entire time, eyes wide open, ears pricked up more sensitively than the inductive coils we produce—not daring to zone out even a little, for fear that some key information might slip through my ears. There was no help for it; after all, I'm someone who has "dedication" engraved in my DNA as an inductive coil professional. Missing even one word in my notes would make me feel like I'm letting down the work in my hands!
