Operating Frequency
Transformer core loss is highly frequency-dependent. Design and usage must correspond to this frequency, known as the operating frequency.
Rated Power
The output power a transformer can deliver continuously under specified frequency and voltage without exceeding the allowable temperature rise.
Rated Voltage
The maximum allowable voltage applied to the transformer's winding(s), which must not be exceeded during operation.
Voltage Ratio
The ratio of the primary voltage to the secondary voltage. Distinctions exist between no-load voltage ratio and load voltage ratio.
Golden Eagle High-Frequency Transformers
No-Load Current
The current flowing in the primary winding when the secondary is open-circuited. It comprises the magnetizing current (which establishes flux) and the core loss current (due to core losses). For 50Hz power transformers, the no-load current is essentially the magnetizing current.
No-Load Loss
The power loss measured at the primary with the secondary open-circuited. Primarily consists of core losses, with a small additional component from copper losses (I²R) in the primary winding due to the no-load current.
Efficiency
The percentage ratio of the secondary output power (P₂) to the primary input power (P₁). Generally, transformer efficiency increases with rated power.
Insulation Resistance
Indicates the insulation integrity between windings and between windings and the core. Its value depends on the insulation material properties, temperature, and humidity levels.
Why do Golden Eagle's High-Frequency Transformers Gain Customer Recognition?
