Nurturing Capabilities through Challenges, Marching Towards the Light -- Insights on Growth from General Manager He's Meeting

Today's meeting with General Manager He was like a beacon, not only illuminating the direction of our business work but also giving me a deeper understanding of the identity of a "salesperson". From clarifying core responsibilities to reshaping self-expectations, from recognizing team missions to honing content capabilities, each insight pushes me towards greater professionalism.

The deployment of the "September Cross-border E-commerce PK Battle" in the meeting filled me with excitement. This competition on Alibaba International Station not only offers attractive incentive mechanisms but, more importantly, provides a battlefield for rapid growth. In this contest, we are not just individuals working alone but comrades-in-arms striving for a common goal. This feeling of being "pushed forward" can precisely force out our latent potential—perhaps we used to set goals with some leeway, but in the atmosphere of a PK battle, only by daring to think and dare to fight can we live up to the team's expectations and, more importantly, not waste our own opportunities for growth.

General Manager He's repeated emphasis on "being ruthless with yourself" deeply moved me. Sales is never a job of "good enough is fine". Settling for mediocrity will only make us gradually fall behind in our comfort zone. Real growth begins with the desire for high goals and is achieved through strict demands on the process. Only when we dare to challenge those seemingly "impossible" sales targets, dare to make one more attempt in client communication, and dare to delve deeper into professional knowledge, can we achieve a dual transformation in both capability and mindset, keeping pace with the company's rapid development. This "ruthlessness" is not self-depletion but a steadfast commitment to professional dignity.

What moved me even more was General Manager He saying: "My responsibility is to help you achieve success, and in doing so, achieve success for myself." This statement reveals the symbiotic relationship between the team and the individual. I used to think that sales was a "lone-wolf" endeavor, but now I understand that every piece of personal performance contributes to the team's goals and helps fellow teammates move closer to their dreams. When we work with the mission of "helping others succeed", the responsibility on our shoulders gains warmth—we are not only fighting for our own future but also contributing to the team's glory and the company's development. This sense of collective honor is more motivating than any reward.

Finally, and importantly, the "Law of Attraction" mentioned by General Manager He suddenly made things clear—what you hold in your heart, you will attract. If you always think "it's too difficult", you will be trapped by difficulties; if you consistently focus on "the goal must be achieved", you will attract opportunities and methods. As salespeople, our mindset is our best "feng shui"; positive beliefs transform into the driving force for action, making every step of our struggle more purposeful.

This meeting brought not only an addition to knowledge but also a reshaping of beliefs. In the future, I will carry a sense of reverence for the business, a sense of responsibility for the team, and a thirst for growth, giving my all in the September PK Battle. I believe that on the path to achieving team success, we will ultimately achieve a better version of ourselves.
