Golden Eagle Coil collaborates with Dongguan Lean Production Research Association to launch the lean workshop construction initiative
During the wave of industrial transformation and upgrading in Dongguan's manufacturing industry, many enterprises are facing huge challenges such as labor shortage, rising costs, and a lack of practical talents. A large-scale, extensive production mode must be transformed into lean manufacturing. We all know that Toyota-style lean production can effectively reduce or eliminate waste in the production process of enterprises, improve product quality, and achieve standardized production. On April 13, 2022, Dongguan Golden Eagle Coil Co., Ltd. jointly launched the lean workshop construction start-up project with the Dongguan Lean Production Research Association. This project aims to leverage the advanced manufacturing and management technologies of the Dongguan Lean Production Research Association and combine its own characteristics for improvement and innovation, opening up its own world, going out and bringing in, and breaking through the bottlenecks of thinking and creativity.
The lean workshop construction start-up project was chaired by General Manager He Shuhua of Golden Eagle Coil. In his speech, Mr. He stated that Golden Eagle Coil is a company that has been established for 20 years. Although the company's management team has accumulated certain achievements in technical level, its management capabilities and professional knowledge are still relatively weak. Many employees have not correctly understood what lean production is, and the company's site, equipment, and employees' working methods have not yet formed standardization. This time, through this cooperation with the Lean Production Research Association, in this learning and practical organization of the research association, through the introduction of lean production, corresponding lean production management training will be provided for employees to improve their own management level and technical level, allowing the enterprise to regain new vitality, develop healthily, and achieve long-term success.
The Lean Production Research Association concluded in its summary that no matter what changes are made, resistance will always be encountered, especially people's habits, which are difficult to change. Lean production aims to change bad working habits. By adopting innovative methods to manage the daily operations of the company, the company's leaders and the heads of each department are the pioneers of lean production management. They need to lead by example and personally take charge. Only in this way can lean production management truly be implemented in every corner of the company. This time, the management team of Golden Eagle Coil established an implementation group. The company's supervisory level personnel first underwent a transformation of lean thinking and awareness, and then through the management level, they discovered, identified and defined the basic ability to find, recognize and define problems.
