4. Inspect the busbar contact surfaces to ensure they are clean; remove oxide layers from the contact surfaces and apply electrical compound grease.
5. Clean dust from around the transformer and its accessories, and check if fire-fighting facilities and ventilation systems are in good condition.
6. Connect the control power operation fuse of the low-voltage side circuit breaker, rehang the "No Switching On" sign to prevent reverse power transmission to the transformer.
7. Put the standby transformer into operation, disconnect the low-voltage side circuit breaker of the transformer under maintenance, remove the control power operation fuse, and hang the "No Switching On" sign at the switch handle.
