Issues to be noted in the use and installation of coils
The electronic component mounting board in any electronic device is carefully arranged, comprehensively laid out, and reasonably designed by engineering and technical personnel based on the performance characteristics of various components used. As a user and installer of coils, pay attention to the following issues.
(1) The installation position of the coil should meet the design requirements
The assembly position of the coil and the relative position of other components must comply with the design specifications, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the whole machine. For example, the position of the high-frequency choke coil and magnetic antenna in a simple semiconductor radio should be arranged appropriately and reasonably; The antenna coil and the oscillation coil should be perpendicular to each other to avoid the influence of mutual coupling.
(2) Before installation, the coil needs to undergo a visual inspection
Before use, check whether the structure of the coil is firm, whether the wire turns are loose or loose, whether the lead contacts are loose, whether the magnetic core rotates flexibly, and whether there are any sliding buckles. After these aspects have been inspected and deemed qualified, installation can proceed.
(3) If the coil needs to be fine tuned during use, the fine-tuning method should be considered
Some coils require fine-tuning during use, and it is inconvenient to change the number of coils according to *. Therefore, when selecting, the method of fine-tuning should be considered. For example, a single-layer coil can use the method of moving the number trapped coil away from the endpoint, that is, winding 3-4 turns around one end of the coil in advance, and during fine-tuning, moving its position can change the inductance. Practice has proven that this adjustment method can achieve a fine adjustment of ± 2% - ± 3% of inductance. The coil used in short wave and ultra short wave circuits often leaves half a circle for fine-tuning, and moving or folding this half circle changes the inductance to achieve fine-tuning. The fine adjustment of multi-layer segmented coils can be achieved by moving the relative distance of one segment, and the number of movable segments should be 20% -30% of the total number of turns. Practice has proven that this fine-tuning range can reach 10% -15%. A coil with a magnetic core can achieve fine adjustment of coil inductance by adjusting the position of the magnetic core in the coil tube.
(4) When using coils, attention should be paid to maintaining the inductance of the original coil
Do not change the shape of the coil casually during use. Size and distance between coils, otherwise it will affect the original inductance of the coil. Especially for coils with higher frequencies and fewer turns. Therefore, the high-frequency coils currently used in televisions are generally sealed and fixed with high-frequency wax or other dielectric materials. In addition, it should be noted that during maintenance, the position of the original coil should not be changed or adjusted arbitrarily to avoid detuning faults.
(5) The installation of adjustable coils should be easy to adjust
Adjustable coils should be installed in easily adjustable positions on the machine to adjust the inductance of the coil to achieve optimal working conditions.
